Committee Introduction

Welcome to the World Health Organization! The WHO was created to be a worldwide authority over the world’s varying medical issues and practices. This organization has assisted in countless pandemics, healthcare outreach programs, education campaigns, and numerous other endeavors. At BELLARMUN 2025, the World Health Organization will highlight ensuring proper hygiene and the conditions of doctors around the world. This committee will be full of engaging and entertaining debates, extraordinary problem solving, and of course, countless opportunities to engage in the world of Model UN! The health and prosperity of people around the world will rely on you in this committee, we can’t wait to see what you do!

  • Director

    Anya is ecstatic to serve as the director of WHO for BELLARMUN 2025! Anya is currently a junior at Bellarmine and is currently in her third year of MUN. In her freshman year, after witnessing her friends at PACMUN and how much fun they had, Anya herself wanted to join the world of Model UN. She talked to the head teacher for Model UN and found herself traveling to Canada where she had a memorable experience. The proposition of ideas and creating a resolution that incorporates everyone's thoughts is Anya’s main goal, which she strives to achieve at every MUN conference she attends. Outside of the world of MUN, Anya is an active tennis player playing around the country as well as an active pursuer of TV shows her favorite of which is Umbrella Academy. Anya also loves listening to music and hanging out with her friends and family.  Anya cannot wait to witness the memories and experiences that every delegate will experience at BELLARMUN!

  • Chair

    Gianna is absolutely honored to be serving as the chair for WHO during this iteration of BELLARMUN. Gianna is a junior at Bellarmine and this is her second year doing MUN. She instantly fell in love with MUN and found a new passion. She has attended multiple conferences prior to this and she is super excited for her second staffing experience. Besides MUN she loves theater. She is in the set crew for Bellarmine’s theater department. Gianna also runs a club at her school designated to help feed the homeless people around Tacoma. Gianna also loves to write songs and sing, and she is in the choir at her school. On top of all that she is a huge Harry Potter nerd and will talk about it with anyone who asks. She is beyond excited to welcome you to WHO

  • Assistant Director

    Collin is extremely excited and proud to be the assistant director of WHO for BellarMUN 2025. Collin is a freshman at Bellarmine and has a deep love and respect for Model UN even though it is his first year. He enjoys MUN because of the community it provides and the experiences it has given him. Collin is also involved in extracurriculars like Tennis, Bellarmine Football, and Kiwanis through his father’s business. Collin often enjoys listening to music, going to church, watching tv, and hanging out with his friends and family. He is extremely honored to welcome you into WHO.

  • Assistant Director

    Lyla is a junior at Bellarmine and is extremely excited to be a part of the amazing WHO dias as assistant director for BELLARMUN 2025. Outside of the outstanding MUN community at Bellarmine, Lyla plays for the women’s basketball team and women’s softball team. She can often be found running around campus from one place to the next or hanging out with friends in her free time. Outside of school she loves to read, paint, ski, camp, listen to music, and spend time with her family. Lyla hopes BELLARMUN 2025 will be an amazing experience for all delegates and can’t wait to see everyone there!
