About
In 2016, a small group of Bellarmine Prep’s Model United Nations Program’s student leaders had the idea of hosting their own conference. At the time, the Pacific Northwest Model UN scene was composed of exclusively high school and college conferences. BellarMUN wanted to create something different, a conference to introduce middle school students to the joy of Model UN. The inaugural BELLARMUN conference was held in April 2017 and remains an integral part of the BellarMUN Program. In addition to supporting middle school students, the conference serves as a major fundraiser for the BellarMUN program as the funds allow all high school students interested to take part in the program. Over the years, BELLARMUN has taught hundreds of middle school students important lessons in diplomacy, public speaking, research, and leadership that lend themselves to Model UN. BELLARMUN 2025 continues the legacy of the conference as a place for middle school students can foster a passion for Model UN.
Our Mission
To expand the reach that Model United Nations has in our region to include middle school students by offering a safe learning environment in which to educate students on principles of leadership, diplomacy, global cooperation, and communication so that they can apply these principles in their daily lives.

Secretary General
Christopher Silverthorn is a senior at Bellarmine Prep. He is the center snare for the marching band as well as the bassist in jazz. He enjoys music greatly–so much it's unjust to call it a pastime. A true Spotify DJ, he has 18 playlists that total 58 hours and 25 minutes. When he's not listening to or thinking about music, he is probably building something. He is the set crew lead and has helped build and design 7 sets so far. But greatest of all, he is the Secretary General of BELLARMUN 2025. He has worked tirelessly on this and previous iterations because he believes that this conference is truly the Future of Diplomacy. He wishes every delegate has an amazing experience, learns something new, makes new friends, and comes back for another year!

Co- Delegate Affairs:
A rising sophomore at Bellarmine Prep, Nicole is thrilled to be serving as a Co-USG of Delegate Affairs! She was introduced to MUN as an anxious freshman, and went into her first conference with the goal of not speaking once. However, after listening to the enticing debate around her, she was hooked, jumping up to raise her placard. Aside from MUN, Nicole finds herself listening to her 40 hour playlist at all hours, swimming, and furiously learning the rules of the road prior to her driving test (by the time you’re reading this she’ll hopefully have passed!). MUN has offered her so many amazing opportunities and relationships with others, and Nicole hopes to add to all delegates’ new experience of MUN! She cannot wait to see what this iteration of BELLARMUN will have to offer, and hopes that all delegates will take something great away from the experience.

USG of Beginner Committees:
As a Junior at Bellarmine Prep, Genevieve is so excited to be serving as the USG of Introductory Committees at BELLARMUN 2025!! She first began her MUN journey as a scared and confused 8th grader who had accidentally signed herself up for an advanced committee at BELLARMUN 2022, but since then, she has always found herself gravitating back toward the world of MUN. The quick and energetic environment, exciting and empowering debate, and the many many friends Genevieve has made along the way has been her favorite thing about Model UN. Besides MUN, Genevieve enjoys racing sailboats across the West Coast, rereading Percy Jackson, and constantly making new playlists for just about every situation. Genevieve is so excited for all the memories she will make at BELLARMUN 2025 and cannot wait to meet all of the amazing delegates this year!

Irene is a freshman at Bellarmine and is estatic to be part of the Flex Staff this year! Although she is very new to Model UN, she enjoys it because it allows her to problem-solve, meet new people, and think outside the box. Irene is an active member of her school community, as shown by her many extracurriculars, such as Investment Club, Baking Club, and Red Cross Club to name a few. She also ran cross-country in the fall. Outside of school, you can find her reading, baking, or in the dance studio. Irene hopes BELLARMUN 2025 will allow delegates to branch out and show off their creativity. She can’t wait to see you around and hopes you’ll love Model UN just as much as she does!

Co- Delegate Affairs:
Grace is a Junior and is elated to be serving as the Director-General for BELLARMUN 2025. Grace attended her first MUN Conference at BELLARMUN during her 8th grade year and immediately fell in love with the invigorating debate and in-depth discussions that are found within MUN. Her positive experience with BELLARMUN has fueled her to try to facilitate that same positive environment for all members of the conference. Outside of MUN, Grace can be found playing softball, going to a concert, playing the piano, or impulsively spending her entire paycheck at the McDonalds down the hill from Bellarmine. Grace is so excited for this iteration of BELLARMUN and could not be more thrilled to see what is in store for this fantastic conference.

USG of Advanced Committees:
Natalie Neal is a Senior at Bellarmine Prep and is ecstatic to be serving as the USG of Advanced Committees! Natalie joined the MUN Community during her sophomore year, and since then has fallen in love with debate and the local MUN community. She is enthusiastic about sharing her passion and drive in specialized and crisis committees, due to their off-the-cuff nature which go hand in hand with her “go with the flow” mentality. Besides MUN, She enjoys listening to music and podcasts, cooking/baking, going on long drives, and browsing her meticulously curated Pinterest feed. Natalie looks forward to meeting all of the amazing delegates and staffers, as well as having a fun and rigorous conference!

Co- Conference:
Connor is a current senior and can’t be more happy to offer BELLARMUN 2025 his leadership as its USG of Conference alongside his partner extraordinaire, Liam Krattli. Fun fact: Connor’s first exposure to the unexpected world of Model UN began right here at BELLARMUN 2018. At that time, he was probably a lot like those of you reading this right now: a hesitant middle schooler who would have rather spent their springtime doing literally anything else—like mastering the art of procrastination or perfecting the art of avoiding high school and talking about global politics. It wasn’t until he was greeted with an open team of Secretariat and committee staff members that he found the idea of raising a placard to speak his mind not to be the most terrifying thing he’d ever done. Little did he know, this initial reluctance would soon turn into a passion for debate, travel, diplomacy, and global issues. What started as a bashful foray into Model UN evolved into a profound interest and dedication to the field of international politics, expanding all four years of Connor’s highschool experience. In his final semesters at Bellarmine and enjoyment of true youth, Connor can’t be more humbled to help make BELLARMUN 2025 a success to all who join in on this invigorating experience.

Chief of Staff:
Katherine (Katie) Palmreuter is a senior at Bellarmine Preparatory School and is bursting with joy to serve as the Chief of Staff for BELLARMUN 2025! Katie became completely hooked by Model UN-style diplomacy during the virtual BELLARMUN iteration of what feels like ages ago. In her first conference, Katie was a wide eyed, unprepared, and nervous first-time delegate, yet during her four years of high school conferences has only grown more fascinated by the complexities of foreign relations. Outside of crafting colorful spreadsheets and sending lengthy Slack messages, Katie can be found playing lacrosse, filing papers at Tacoma Pro Bono Community Lawyers, or editing (and complaining about) Bellarmine’s yearbook. Katie loves to watch Glee whenever she gets the chance, and will most certainly burst into song at some point during the weekend. During fleeting moments of free time, Katie loves to play with her dog, watch one of numerous football teams she roots for (Go Wolverines!), and blast Doctor Taylor Allison Swift. She is excited to guide delegates through debate and make loads of memories at BELLARMUN 2024!

Co- Conference:
Liam Krattli is currently a Junior at Bellarmine who is very excited to serve as the USG of Conference with his diligent partner, Connor Mau. Ever since Liam first attended BELLARMUN 2022, much like you he struggled with speaking out in debate and talking to new people durning UnMods. After a while though he became captured by the thrill of the debate and devoted much of his time to research for conferences and getting to know his fellow Model UN students. Model UN is not his only passion as he also participates in Water Polo, Marine Chemistry, Knowledge Bowl, and Soccer in his spare time. While all of these activities take up a lot of his time Liam also loves to be able to relax with a good book after a mad dash to finish his homework after all his activities. He also enjoys listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Liam is humbled to have this opportunity to serve on BELLARMUN 2025 Secratariat and hopes that his work will help ignite the same passion in Model UN that BELLARMUN 2022 gave to him.

Co- Delegate Affairs:
Alice Malebranche is currently a senior at Bellarmine and is more than honored to be able to serve as one of three Under-Secretary Generals of Delegate Affairs. Contributing to the organization of this 2025 iteration of BELLARMUN is a passion project of Alice’s. By stepping out of her comfort zone in 2018, as a nervous middle schooler, to attend her first ever BELLARMUN conference, her love for Model UN was harbored. During her time at Bellarmine, MUN has become a large part of her life and has assisted in the development of important skills like rhetoric, leadership, writing, and public speaking. Alice is so excited to bring more middle schoolers to the top of The Hill at Bellarmine Prep and share in the joyful experience of MUN!
